Carbon zinc cells are 1.5 volts (nominal) and range between 60 to 30,000 mAh in capacity. The energy density by weight is 9 Wh/kg and by volume is 0.06-0.12 Wh/cubic centimeter. There is a 2 to 3 year shelf life to 80% capacity at 20 degrees C. The operational temperature range is from -5 degrees C to +55 degrees C.
